North Shore Regiment – Battle Dress Jacket
Original WWII North Shore Regiment (NSR) battle dress jacket. Features all original wartime applied badges. The insignia includes a pair of English made embroidered NSR shoulder titles and CANADA titles with melton 3rd Canadian Infantry Division patches. Makers stamp inside, the jacket is dated 1944 and marked as size 8. It shows normal signs of use.

The North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment played a key role in WWII, landing on Juno Beach during D-Day (June 6, 1944) and securing Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer despite heavy resistance. They fought in the Normandy Campaign, the Battle of the Scheldt, and the liberation of the Netherlands in 1945. By May 1945, they were stationed in the Netherlands as the war in Europe ended. Known for their bravery, the regiment remains honored today.
