Canadian ‘Gas Proof’ Kitbag – Aristo 1944

This is a rare WWII Canadian kitbag made from gas-proof material—the first we have encountered of its kind. Its specialized construction would have also made it waterproof. The bag is nicely maker-marked by Aristo from Galt, Ontario, and is dated 1944. It remains in very supple condition, an uncommon find for collectors.
