Canadian ‘Waterproof’ Kitbag – Aristo 1944

This is a rare WWII Canadian kitbag made from waterproof material, the first we have encountered of its kind. Its specialized construction would have also made it gasproof. The bag is nicely maker-marked by Aristo from Galt, Ontario, and is dated 1944. It remains in very supple condition, an uncommon item for collectors.
