Luftwaffe Flight NCO’s Four-Pocket Tunic
Original WWII Luftwaffe ‘Flight’ Private Purchase Tunic (1935 Pattern). Blue-grey wool, four-pocket construction as intended for a Feldwebel der Flieger. The right breast bears an embroidered breast eagle, hand-stitched to the tunic. A pair of yellow collar tabs with three rank gulls each are machine-sewn to the collar, along with silver NCO braid and yellow piping. All insignia appear to be originally applied, though the breast eagle may have been re-applied.
The sew-in shoulder boards, made from the same wool as the tunic, feature yellow Waffenfarbe indicating a Feldwebel in a Flieger unit. Award loops are present on the left breast for decoration wear. A hand-embroidered Luftwaffe Transport patch is neatly in place to the lower left sleeve.
Interior is lined and shows some staining from wear. No tailor’s label present inside the pocket. Overall in good, used condition.
Photos appear a bit darker than the tunic in person.
