Seaforth Highlanders of Canada – Tam O’ Shanter

Original WWII ‘Seaforth Highlanders of Canada’ Tam O’Shanter. The Tam is in used condition and features its original Seaforth Highlanders tartan and cap badge. The imprint of the cap badge is nicely pressed into the tartan fabric. Interestingly, the tartan lines run vertically and horizontally rather than diagonally, the reason for this is unknown. The cap was manufactured by Brill Cap, Winnipeg, dated 1942, size 7 3/4. The rear string is present, and the soldier added two extra holes to make the Tam fit tighter, clearly a period modification.
