British Commando Sweater – 1945

Original WWII British military-issue Commando (Mountain) sweater. A classic khaki-coloured knitted pullover with a metal-tipped drawstring threaded through the neck. The original “TWOMAX” label is present, marked size 1 and dated 1945, with the broad arrow stamp. The wool remains flexible and would easily fit a mannequin.

The right upper sleeve shows a small period repair; otherwise the sweater is in very nice condition overall. These sweaters were heavily used by British Commandos during the war.
