British Oversuit Tank Crew with Hood – 1945

Original WWII British (Canadian) Oversuit Tank Crew with hood. The khaki-coloured oversuit, also known as the Pixie Suit, is in field-worn condition and shows expected staining, including an area of damage beside the left back pocket. It is complete with all its original functional zippers fitted with Swift sliders, as well as brass press-studs. The top press-studs on the shoulder straps are missing. The oversuit comes complete with its inner braces and a clear maker’s label: J. Morris & Sons, size 4, dated 1945. It also carries the War Department stamp with the letter code Z, indicating 1945. The Oversuit Tank Crew was issued to British, Canadian and Polish Armoured troops.
