British Skeleton Assault Vest – EF&S 1943

Original WWII British Skeleton Jerkin. Excellent condition, 1943-dated British Skeleton Jerkin, also known as the Bren Vest or Light Assault Vest. The first production started in 1943 as a lightweight alternative to the Battle Jerkin, it features two large front pockets for Bren mags (with string and toggle closures), webbing straps front fastening. Includes a bayonet lug on the left side. Maker marked E.F. & S. and 1944 dated in size Medium. A rare maker.
