British Impact Training Vest MkII – Dated 1940

Original WWII British Impact Training Vest MkII, 1940. This leather training vest is padded with horsehair to protect the wearer from punches and was also used during bayonet-rifle training. A rare item, one we have not encountered before. Maker-marked by Arys Sport Goods Ltd, London, dated 1940, Mk II with broad arrow. The leather is in good condition; the straps are somewhat dry.
