1st Pattern Denison smock (Airborne Troops) – Dated 1942

Original WW2 British 1st Pattern Denison smock (Airborne Troops). An early hand dyed smock in good used condition. The smock is fitted with its original maker label, Dephyrane Garments Ltd. dated 1942 in size 1. Both knitted cuffs are in good original condition and of a tight weave woollen construction.The zip puller is marked Lighting and Newey press studs.  The crotch flap (tail) is still present, looks like it was restitched at some point. The backside shows a large period repair, not uncommon with worn smock. WD marked.
