Brigade Piron Mk2 Helmet – Cpl. SIMON

Original WW2 Belgium Brigade Piron Mk2 helmet. This helmet is named to Corporal Onésime SIMON with service number 14136, 3rd Battalion. Cpl. Simon got wounded on 15 April 1945 in Holland. “15 April: The 3rd Battalion reports that the position is occupied by enemy troops. The patrol has an injured person”The helmet is in field worn condition, clear traces of usage. Looks like the helmet has camouflage paint, green and brown. Nice painted flash in good condition. His name is written on the chinstrap Cpl. SIMON O. Liner is maker marked BMB and dated 1942.

Nice untouched helmet to the Brigade Piron and named to a wounded soldier.
