British Airborne Fibre Rim Helmet – BMB 1942

WW2 British Airborne (Paratrooper) Fibre Rim helmet. This is an early wartime HSAT helmet with fibre rim, fitted with its original leather chinstrap construction in good condition. The chin cup has the chamois lining present. The liner of the helmet complete and in good condition, clearly maker marked BMB and dated 1942, in good size 7 1/4. The yellow sorbo is still supple. The crash pad is present. The rim is good and tight around the helmet. The helmet has been green repainted at some point, this can have been done in the war or after the war. Comes with an original net.
