British Airborne MkI Helmet – BMB 1943

Original WWII British Airborne (Paratrooper) MkI helmet. This British MkI paratrooper helmet featuring leather chinstraps. The helmet retains its original first-layer factory paint, both on the inside and outside. One chinstrap is riveted, and the other is stitched—a common feature seen on these helmets. The leather remains in good, supple condition, including the chin cup, which is lined with intact chamois for added comfort. The liner is complete, well-preserved, and clearly marked with the maker’s initials, BMB, dated 1943, and sized 6 7/8. The liner’s black-colored Sorbo remains supple and in good condition. The crash pad is present, and the bolts and nuts remain untouched.
