British Denison Smock (Airborne Troops) – Dated 1942

A scarce WW2 British Denison Smock (Airborne Troops). This is an early 1st pattern, hand dyed smock in good used condition, shows traces of wear. The smock is fitted with its original clearly readable maker’s label, WAREINGS (N’TON) Ltd. dated 1942 in size 6 (which is a very good size). WD stamped with letter N for 1943. The half zip is original, unusual that it is stitched through the zipper’s front flap, perhaps a factory fault, definitely not recently done. Both knitted cuffs are in good condition. The tail is still in place!  Brass press-studs are NEWEY marked. Left inside breast pocket is out, not visible.

Hard to find Denison Smock 1st model in good used condition with very nice camouflage colors!
