British Drinking Mug – Dated 1945

95,00

Original WWII British drinking mug. Drinking mugs were issued to the individual soldiers because their water-bottle had no cup. These were made from enameled metal with a handle case into the side, this is a green example. It was common practice to carry the mug on the outside of the small-pack with one of the flap straps being passed through the handle of the mug. This example is dated 1945, and WD stamped. A very hard to find item, a must have for every British/Canadian collector.
