British Paratrooper Rifle Valise – Dated 1944

Hard to find WW2 British Paratrooper Rifle Valise. The rifle valise was used to protect the Lee Enfield 303 rifle during the jump. The rope was used to lower the rifle so that the rifle was first on the ground before the soldier came with his full packing. The rifle valise is nicely maker marked by MECo and dated 1944. Complete condition! Nicely unit marked 3 COY (3rd Company).
