British Windproof Camouflaged Smock – 1944
€1.100,00
Original WWII British Windproof Camouflaged Smock. The camouflage windproof suits were made from the same lightweight, windproofed cotton material used for the drab tan sets. The camouflage pattern is similar to that of the Denison smock, sharing the same base colours and brushstroke style. This smock is in good, worn condition, showing only some staining and a large repair on the back that is barely visible unless pointed out. The original maker’s label is present: Miller & Co. Ltd., size 5, dated 1944. Draw tapes are present.
These smocks were very popular among British and Canadian troops, particularly infantry, snipers, and special forces.
