Britse REME Tam O’ Shanter – 51 HD Bde.
This British Tam O’Shanter is named to ‘S.J. Vine’ of the 51th (Highland) Division, Brigade Workshop REME, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. The Tam comes with its original REME capbadge and tartan, name and service number were written on the inside.
As this REME was part of the Highland Division they were allowed to worn the Tam O’Shanter and had their own REME tartan. Nicely War-Department (WD) marked with letter Q.
This Tam is in used condition with traces of wear. The Tam is maker marked and dated 1940.
