RAF C-type Flying Helmet – Early Pattern
WW2 RAF C-type flying helmet, this is a nice early pattern with leather chinstrap construction.
Nicely fitted with its original label size 3 what indicates a good size 7 1/4 to 7 3/8, stores reference 22c/451. The leather is in very good used condition, and supple leather, all straps and press studs present. Fitted with 4 goggle straps in good condition and the press studs retain most of their original coating. The Bennett buckle is in good condition and the chinstrap is complete with metal end tip. The rubber receiver carriers are both excellent condition. The lining is also in good condition.
