1.850,00

Original WWII Calgary Regiment – 14th Canadian Armoured Regiment (14 CAR), battle dress jacket and its original beret. The jacket shows normal signs of wear consistent with service use. The jacket is dated 1944, in size 10. All insignia are original and period-applied, including: A pair of English-made embroidered shoulder titles for the Calgary Regiment, cloth formation patches for the 1st Armoured Brigade with 14 CAR (14th Canadian Army Tank Regiment) with the Tank-badge on the sleeve and three service-years chevrons. The jacket shows period tailoring, with a straighter back panel and an opened-up collar for a more stylish look, while still being fully closable. A stunning RAC black beret, complete with its originally applied cap badge. The beret was manufactured by Supak and is WD stamped “M,” dated 1944. The cap badge has a plastic backing plate on the inside, which was a common practice among soldiers. Jacket has the medal ribbon bar present, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal ribbon was found in the breast pocket. A rare to find jacket with fascinating regimental history.
