350,00

Original WWII Canadian Motorcyclists “Dispatch Rider” helmet. This helmet retains its original factory first-layer paint and is in good condition, showing normal signs of wartime wear. It is complete with its full-length leather chinstrap. The shell is maker marked CL/C, dated 1944 and C broad arrow stamped. The liner is maker marked “BS” and dated 1944 as well. Canadian-made motorcyclists’ helmets differ from British-made examples. Canadian helmets feature rubber padding instead of horsehair around the leather liner, as well as a wider chinstrap.
