Denison Smock (Airborne Troops) “Hand Painted”
Original WWII British ‘Airborne Troops’ 1st pattern Denison Smock. This 1st Pattern Denison Smock, dated 1942, is in good used condition with expected signs of wear. It features hand-painted camouflage, complemented by printed camouflage fabric on the pocket flaps and inside pockets, making it a particularly interesting example. The smock retains its readable maker’s label: C.W.S. Ltd. Marked as size 4, which is considered one of the most desirable sizes for a Denison smock. The half-zip is fully functional and marked “N”. The knitted cuffs are nice, show some small damages. The tail is still present. All brass press-studs are marked NEWEY. The brass parts exhibit some signs of erosion, consistent with age and use.
