Denison Smock (Airborne Troops) ‘Hand Painted’ 1942

Original WWII British ‘Airborne Troops’ 1st pattern Denison Smock. This 1st Pattern Denison Smock, dated 1942, is in good used condition with normal signs of wear. The  fabric is hand-painted camouflage. The smock retains its readable maker’s label: WAREINGS (N’TON) Ltd, dated 1942 and size 6 with WD letter code N that indicates the date 1943 of issue. The half-zip is fully functional and marked ‘made in England’. The knitted cuffs are nice condition. The tail is still present. One of the upper inside pockets is missing, which is not visible from the outside. All brass press-studs are marked NEWEY. A very nice original 1st pattern Denison Smock.
