Denison Smock – Dated 1944

Original WW2 British Denison Smock. This is a 2nd model smock, fitted with buttoned handcuffs instead of wool, in good used condition. The smock appears in good worn condition, normal traces of usage. Fitted with its original and functional zipper. The smock’s makers label is present, maker marked by John Gordon & Co. dated 1944 in a good size 3. The smock is fitted with Newey press studs. The smock retains its full length tail.These smocks were used by British and Canadian airborne troops, Commando’s and regular army troops. Nice bright colours, just a small damage inside the collar (see photo).

2nd pattern Denison smocks dated 1944 in good size are getting very hard to find these days!
