German Carrier for 2 Tellermine 35
This is a German transport carrier for two ‘Tellermine 35’ mines (2T.Mi.35),nicely maker marked and dated 1938. The mine carrier painted in original Normandy camouflage paint. It is totally functional with working clasps and hinges. These double carriers were intended for use with Panzer divisions and on other vehicles, they would be secured to the side of the vehicle and have a carry handle for ease of use. Carriers in this condition are not easy to find. The felt pads are not present.
The Tellermine 35 (T.Mi.35) was a German metal cased anti-tank mine used extensively
during the Second World War.
