€295,00
Original WWII Canadian paper grouping belonging to Trooper William G. Jamieson of the XII Manitoba Dragoons ’18th Armoured Car Regiment,’ service number H-77718, from Winnipeg. This collection includes his ‘Certificate of Active Service,’ covering his service from September 3, 1941, to May 8, 1945, during which he saw active duty in the European theatre. The certificate remains in its original envelope.
The grouping also features a rare 6th Canadian Repatriation Depot song pamphlet from the Royal Garrison Church in Aldershot, a scarce regimental newsletter titled ‘The Staghound,’ and a pamphlet on Post-War plans signed by Lt. Col. BLACK, Commanding Officer of the XII Manitoba Dragoons.
This is an exceptionally intriguing collection with ample potential for further research into Trooper Jamieson’s service history
