Luftwaffe EM’s Greatcoat with Hood – 1943

Original WWII Luftwaffe EM’s Greatcoat with detachable hood. Constructed of Luftwaffe grey wool, this greatcoat features a double-breasted front with two rows of six closure buttons, along with a single metal hook-and-eye at the neckline. The coat is made of heavy-quality material and is partially lined with grey rayon. The greatcoat is clearly size-marked with a chest size of 104 cm and bears the marking “L.B.A. 3.43” (Luftwaffe Bekleidungsamt, March 1943). It is accompanied by its rare and hard-to-find original detachable hood, which attaches beneath the collar with three buttons (see photos). Condition is good overall, showing some moth damage, and damage to the rayon lining, staining, and discoloration  (see photos). A nice, original Luftwaffe greatcoat, perfect for display.
