Luftwaffe M35 DD Helmet – ET62

Luftwaffe M35 double decal helmet. The helmet is in good used condition, shows traces of usage. The shell is maker marked ET62 was is indicating production by the company of Eisen und Hüttenwerke in Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number 3820. The liner is nice and supple condition, size 55 stamped and its original string is still in place. Unit marked on the inside! The decals are in good condition, see photos. Comes with its chinstrap dated 1939 is in good condition.

The Luftgau-Nachrichten-Abteilung 11 was a Transmission unit which was important for the Luftwaffe, they were formed on April 1, 1938 with only one company without a department staff for Luftgau-Nachrichten-Abteilung 11. On July 1, 1938, the department was expanded to form the Luftgau-Nachrichten-Abteilung 11 in Hanover. The Air Intelligence Replacement Department II/17 formed the first department of the regiment.
