Queen’s Own Rifles – Printed shoulder title

Original WWII Queen’s Own Rifles printed shoulder title. The shoulder title is in good condition and shows a faint trace of a sewing machine’s stitching through the middle, which is barely visible and most likely a mistake from the period.

The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada landed on Juno Beach on D-Day (June 6, 1944), they faced heavy resistance but secured their objectives. They fought in the Battle of Normandy, the liberation of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and key operations like Totalize and Tractable. In 1945, they helped liberate Dutch towns and participated in the Battle of the Rhineland, advancing into Germany.
