RAF 1940 Pattern Flying Boots – A.C. McDougal 1569725

RAF 1940 Pattern Flying Boots. The boots are worn by A.C. McDougal 1569725, we have not done any research to McDougal yet. The boots are nicely A.M. marked. The brown suede uppers are in good condition. The rubber ‘galosh’ section shows some traces of usage and cracking. Excellent funtional zips. Original soles and heels. The linings are in reasonably good order, except for one boot what is missing some of the white wool. The 1940 pattern boots do not have the 1941 pattern anklet straps.

A very nice scarce pair of early flying boots, these are not the more commonly found 1941 pattern.
