RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West Bladder
RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West Bladder (Stole). Stores ref. 22c/72. Grey rubberized cotton stole for the ’41 pattern Mae West. The material is generally good and flexible/undamaged although it shows some staining. The oral inflation tube is also quite flexible. There is no inflation lever or CO2 bottle fitted. Broad arrow/War Department marked and dated March 1945. Not sure if still inflate but never recommend this as doing so introduces moisture and can promote internal rotting. A very good and rare example. Mae West is also available for purchase at the website, here shows for example with the bladder.
