RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West Bladder (Stole) with Inflation Lever

475,00

Original WWII RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West Bladder (Stole). A grey rubberised-cotton stole for the 1941 Pattern RAF Mae West. The material is in very good, flexible condition with only minor staining. The oral inflation tube remains supple. Fitted with often missing inflation-lever and its securing clip, A.M marked. Air Ministry King’s Crown marking and Stores Ref. 22C/72 are clearly stamped, with a re-test date of April 1945.

It would likely still inflate, though this is not recommended, as introducing moisture can cause internal deterioration.

A very good example, difficult to upgrade.
