RAF Emergency Flying Ration MKII – with contents

WW2 RAF  Emergency Flying Ration MKII gilt metal box with its original contents. Stores Ref. 27P/7. The original contents are still present which makes this ration a rare item. It contains the Energy tablets (two), chewing gum and sweets. The tin has surface corrosion to the base but all text to the front is reasonably legible, backside is harder to read, inside instruction is clean and good readable. The rubber lid seal is also in tact. These rations were officially issued as part of the dinghy survival kit but saw wider distribution. Rare to find with contents.
