RAF Irvin flying jacket

Original WWII RAF Irvin flying jacket. This example is of mid war configuration with mulitple panel construction.  The leather is in good used condition, still supple but shows some issues, some parts are glued: right arm pit, closing belt (not in good condition), collar strap, lower right sleeve and middle backside, some of the leather straps that covers the panels have loose stitching, all this is visible on the pictures.  Wool lining is good condition, all zippers are complete and functional.  Right sleeve shows a period leather repair.  The jacket has the original chain hanger. Still a nice example for display!

Approximate measurements : pit to pit 56cm, pit to cuff 52cm, Length 75cm (collar to lower waist)
