RAF Irvin flying jacket – Early war time example

Original WWII RAF Irvin flying jacket. This example is an early-war flying jacket, the jacket is assembled from minimal number of panels, an entire short-pile sheepskin was used for each panel on pre-war or early-war Irvins. Early wartime Irvin flying jackets are very hard to find! The leather is in perfect supple condition, all zippers are complete and functional. The belt is in good condition, one leather strap is loose on one side (see last photo). The jacket has the original chain hanger. A stunning early war Irvin flying jacket!
