Original WWII RAF Mk VIII flying goggles in cardboard box. The goggles come complete with their original box which is the specific issue type with ‘Goggles MK. VIII’ stamped to the top as well as the stores code 22c/920. The side of the box is also marked with Air Ministry (A.M.) marking and ‘Mark VIII’. The spare lenses and anti dimming tin are not present. A good example of the pattern worn by RAF aircrew during WWII. Retaining elasticated strap, which remains in good condition, still elastic. The leather nose part is also Air Ministry stamped.
