RARE Canadian Anti-Gas Jacket – Dated 1941

This is a rare, original WWII Canadian Anti-Gas Jacket. Unlike the more common anti-gas cape, this jacket is shorter in length. It remains in good, supple condition, with all press-studs intact. The jacket is nicely maker marked by Scythes & Company Limited, Toronto – Montreal, a manufacturer not often encountered. Early wartime dated 1941. It does show two areas of damage, as depicted in the photos. These jackets were rolled-up and stored in the haversack or rolled and fixed the web belts.
