Rare and Desirable WWII Polish Certificate for the 2nd Armoured Regiment Breast-Badge. This certificate, issued to Stanislaw Berda in 1944, commemorates his service in the 1st Squadron of the 2nd Armoured Regiment. A distinguished veteran of the Normandy campaign, Berda was evacuated to the hospital on October 8, 1944, but rejoined his unit just three days later on October 11, 1944. He furthered his skills between October 28 and November 19, 1944, by completing a tank training course. Stanislaw Berda was married to Florentyna Marek, and on December 19, 1944, he received the prestigious Polish Cross of Valour.
This 1944 dated certificate is a rare find and is seldom seen in the market.
