RCAMC 3rd Canadian Infantry Division ‘MiD’ – Battle Dress Jacket
Original WWII Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps (RCAMC) 3rd Canadian Infantry Division battle dress jacket, worn by a Major of the RCAMC who was awarded the Mentioned in Dispatches (MiD) honor. This piece is a fresh find from Nova Scotia and remains in its original wartime configuration, featuring all period-applied badges. Notably, one side of the insignia displays discoloration, likely due to UV light exposure over time. The insignia includes a pair of printed RCAMC shoulder titles with grey/blue printed 3CID division patches, Major rank on both shoulder straps and years service chevrons. Makers stamp inside, the date is unreadable, size 9. It shows normal signs of use, overall good condition. Medal ribbons present including the MiD.
A stunning RCAMC 3rd Canadian Infantry Division battle dress jacket.
