Royal 22e Regiment – Battle Dress Jacket

Original WWII Royal 22e Regiment (van Doos) Battle Dress Jacket. The jacket shows normal signs of wear. The jacket is maker-marked and dated 1942 in size 5. All insignia are original period-applied, including: A pair of embroidered R22R shoulder titles, melton red formation patches for the 1st Canadian Infantry Division and two years service chevron. A name, which appears to be ‘Bennet’, is written on the inside pocket. The jacket features plastic buttons on both shoulder straps, similar to those found on jackets from 1942.
