Royal Corps of Signals ‘Airborne’ Battle Dress – Dated 1943

Original WWII Royal Corps of Signals , Airborne Division battle dress. This battle dress tunic features original, period-applied insignia, including printed Royal Corps of Signals shoulder titles, an embroidered wing, and printed Airborne Division ‘Pegasus’ formation patches. An interesting detail is that the shoulder titles are hand-sewn onto the tunic, combined with machine stitching. The tunic is in good used condition but shows some moth damage. The maker’s label is present, indicating it was produced by Hart & Levy Limited in size 6. It is WD-stamped with the letter code ‘N,’ dating it to 1943.
