Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Highlanders – Tam O’ Shanter

Original WWII Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Highlanders (SDG) Tam O’ Shanter / Bonnet. This is an English-made, privately purchased Tam O’ Shanter, adorned with the original SDG cap badge and tartan, both of which were applied during wartime. The tartan is sewn onto the bonnet. Notably, this Tam retains its original blue Toorie, a distinctive feature of the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Highlanders. While there appears to be a name inscribed, it is unfortunately illegible. The bonnet shows signs of use and has some minor moth damage, making it an authentic and historically significant piece. An excellent addition for any 3rd Canadian Infantry Division collection!
