Wehrmacht Infantry Officer’s Tunic – Infanterie-Regiment 118

Wehrmacht (Heer) Officer’s tunic as intended for an Infantry Lieutenant in ‘Infanterie-Regiment 118′. This tunic is in overall good used condition, showing normal signs of wear. The top closing button is missing, and three of the pocket buttons are pinned with a needle instead of being sewn with thread. The tunic is complete with all insignia, including a nicely hand-embroidered breast eagle, shoulder boards, and officer’s collar tabs. Both the collar tabs and shoulder boards are piped in white, denoting the Infantry branch, shoulder boards are having ’11’ the ‘8’ are removed for some reason, still clearly visible it should be 118. The insignia were most likely reapplied at some point. The shoulder boards are sewn onto the tunic. The interior is not visible maker marked. A nice original Infantry Officer’s field blouse
