WH M40 SD Helmet
Wehrmacht (Heer) M40 SD Helmet EF62
This is a nice Wehrmacht (Heer) single-decal combat helmet. The helmet was camouflaged with white wash during the war, this white coloured paint was on water basis and easy to remove after the winter period. The helmet appears in used condition, shows normal traces of usage. The liner is in used condition, original liner drawstring is present. The shell is marked with serial number 17374, the maker marked EF62. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The Decal is faded caused by cleaning the white wash camo, periodically done. The chinstrap is maker marked and in used condition, small strap is missing.
