Worcestershire Regt. BD Jacket – 43rd Wessex Division

Original WWII Worcestershire Regiment, 43rd Wessex Infantry Division, Battle Dress Jacket. This jacket is original badged: printed Worcestershire Regiment shoulder titles and formation patches, including printed 43rd Wessex Infantry Division insignia and the combination for the 214th Brigade and 1st Battalion. A name is written on the inside. The jacket appears to be a size 9. The original label is missing, but it is WD-stamped with the letter Z, indicating it was issued in 1945.

The 43rd Wessex Infantry Division took part in the liberation of the Netherlands and Germany in 1945. The jacket is in good condition with one area of damage (see photos). A hard to find regiment.
