Denison Smock – 1st Model
Original early wartime WW2 British Denison Smock 1st model in good used condition! The smock shows traces of usage with some damages caused by usage and a rip in left arm woolen cuff. The zipper closure is marked ‘Swift’. The smock has its original makers label, maker marked by C.W.S. Ltd. this company didn’t show the date on their makers labels, first model Denison smock (with woolen cuffs) were only made in 1942 or 1943. Size 2 (fits a mannequin perfectly). The smock is fitted with Newey press studs, good functional zipper. Tail is has been cut off what we see on most combat worn smocks. These smocks were used by British and Canadian Paratroopers, Commando’s or regular army troops. This smocks is a really nice ‘been there’ smock!

Original early wartime ‘hand painted’ Denison Smock 1st model in good used condition! These early first models were were hand painted, and not offered for sale very often. The smock shows normal traces of usage. The zipper closure is marked ‘N’ what indicates the company of Newey. The smock has its original makers label, maker marked by C.W.S. this company doesn’t show the date on the label very often, the early 1942 types of camouflage were handpainted fabrics. The smock is fitted with Newey press studs, good functional zipper. Full length tail is present, one front press stud for the tail is missing. These smocks were used by British and Canadian Paratroopers, Commando’s or regular army troops.
